Passive Smoking In Public Places

Passive smoking in public places is very dangerous.
Public places are usually flooded with people. This is citied as one of the main reason for the fast spreading of cancer. Many nations have banned smoking in public places in light of these reports. Smoking in public places can at times cause severe repercussions than a heart attack or cancer especially if the masses are congested and there is inadequate fresh air. The effects of passive smoking can be compared to the food cooked in a micro oven.

Passive Smoking Respiratory Problems and Lung Cancer
Passive smoking has largely been responsible for causing lung cancer. After respiratory problem lung cancer is the most common problem faced by passive smoking. It also needs to be understood that persons who are already suffering from respiratory problem are prone to suffer from lung cancer quickly than the others. Since their respiratory system is already affected passive smoking can even choke the lungs and cause instantaneous deaths in rare cases.
Passive Smoking and Heart Disease
Passive smoking increases the chances of heart disease. Passive smoking can cause heart disease to healthy persons who would not otherwise even suffer from heart problems. However this problem mostly occurs only to non smokers who have high nicotine levels in their body. Others are also likely to suffer from this problem but the chances are less if the nicotine levels are minimal.

The health effects of passive smoking mentioned above are only a tip of the iceberg. Passive smoking does not cause innumerable deaths unlike active smoking. However there are also instances of people dying due to passive smoking on few occasions. The only way to remove the ill effects of passive smoking is to create awareness among the smokers and the non smokers as well. It is imperative to protect people falling pray to this deadly menace.
