Cold turkey, Best way to quit smoking

In recent years smoking has been proving to be a greater source and cause of not only lung cancer but only of other related health problems and symptoms such as a faster aging skin, a cough and trouble breathing amongst other things.

There is a multitude of products that promise to help you quit smoking without any problems at all and behind these products is a million-dollar industry. However the wake up call has come for anyone trying to quit after many years of smoking; it's an addiction. And addictions hardly ever go away just like that. Smokers are addicted like any other drug addict and beating an addiction may be the hardest thing you'll ever do.

No matter what the media are trying to make you believe, for every cigarette brand there are two brands for products that help you quit smoking. The best way, according to ex-smokers, to quit is the following: just do it. Stop making up excuses, waiting till the new year, the birthday or till next week. The cigarette that you are now smoking is your last. You are doing yourself a favor by quitting and reducing the number of cigarettes that you are smoking does not work. It's a simple as that.

You may the exception, maybe anti-smoking products work for you. If you do feel that you need some help, speak to your doctor and find out what the best way is for you. Shop around for products and make sure that whatever method you use, you stick to it. That's the only way to succeed.
