Inpatient Smoking Cessation Program

In an inpatient, smoking cessation program a smoker gets admitted in a hospital as a inpatient and treatment is administered to help
him to quit smoking. These programs have achieved better results in comparison with outpatient smoking cessation programs. There is constant monitoring and medical attention as far as inpatient smoking cessation programs is concerned. Hence they naturally stand a better chance in terms of getting rid of smoking. Another advantage of this program is that medical complications if any can be identified and treated immediately.

Inpatient smoking cessation program is not devoid of limitations. You tend to feel monotonous for staying in hospital for long hours. This sluggishness might reduce your interest in the treatment and therefore your only objective will be to complete the therapy. As a result the effectiveness of the treatment will be reduced because you may not follow the instructions properly or do things hastily.
